General Information, Not a Diagnosis of Your Roof

Our pages explain how roofing parts usually behave: why shingles lose granules, how flashing fails around chimneys and vents, what happens when gutters overflow at the fascia. That is general information. It cannot tell you the condition of your own roof, because decking, underlayment and attic ventilation can only be judged by looking at them in person.

Please do not climb onto your roof because of something you read here. A pitched roof is slippery when wet, dew or loose granules are on it, and storm damage can hide soft decking or nearby power lines. Leave the ladder work to a trained crew with fall protection.

Nothing on this website is a contract or a final price. Scope and cost are set only after we look at your home and walk you through a written estimate. Any offer shown on the site applies as described and is confirmed with you on the phone before work is scheduled.
